Mellowcup cafe @ Gottlieb Road, Penang

Mellowcup cafe, I heard that this cafe's coffee and dessert is quite famous. But, this time I tried on their main course, maybe will pay another visit for their coffee and dessert. Have you try before, any recommendations?

Chili Aglio Olio

I really don't understand, is that necessary to have that large plate? Don't you feel that very annoying? Hmm,it may look like there is only a small portion of spaghetti, but I was full when finished. This is my first time see aglio olio with egg yolk, normally is carbonara will have it right? Anyway, egg yolk makes things perfect, agree?

Fish and chips

The fish is fresh which makes it delicious. I was quite surprised to that big portion, with that price. Just, I personally feel that, it may be too dry because of the deep fried. But overall, the fish and chips is not bad, can have a try too.

Actually my first intention to visit Roots Dessert Bar is because of their Watermelon Cake. Unfortunately, watermelon cake only available on weekends. Oh no, so sad when I saw this written on the menu. *I will be back*

When marshmallow meets hot chocolate, ‘有恋爱的感觉噢’, spinning around on the floor, lalala~~* Don't worry, the sweetness is just right on point.

Rose cheesecake

Nowadays, dessert not only a dessert, is has become an act. Oh gosh, this rose cheesecake looks so elegant. The fragrant of rose filled in the mouth when you have a bite on it.

Chocolate soil

Another artwork of Roots Dessert Bar? Do you realise, there is a few of tiny leaves on the plate, tiny tiny of them look so cute. Ok, back to the chocolate soil, hmm, what a funny name huh? Well, the mushrooms I think is marshmallow, crispy with a little bit of sweetness, and take a bite of the chocolate, perfect match. The chocolate is soft, is something like tiramisu. 

To be honest, when this first came, I feel regret of ordered this. But after have a taste on it, I'm sorry, I shouldn't judge a person, ok is food, by its look. Because I think chocolate soil taste more yummy than rose cheesecake.

A place which sells burger (Soft shell crab burger and Fried calamari burger) and ice-creams. A new place to hang out for hipsters. Hahaha. A new instagramer-spot cafe, you know what I mean right? I have paid a visit today, what about you? 

 Soft shell crab burger

Deep fried soft shell crab served in a charcoal bun, topped with the special homemade herb and lemon sauce, together with curly fries. The sauce is really nice and I damn love their crispy curly fries.

Charcoal toast with Urban Artisan gelato

You can choose two flavor of ice-cream. My choice was Matcha and Peanut butter.Trust me, their peanut butter really good, the mixture of its salty-ness and sweetness from the sugar icing.

However, I want to complain, as this makes me feel so annoyed. As you know, nowadays, people tends to go for cafe hunting, normally will go for sharing, so that tummy still got space for second round. As a considerate waitress/waiter, I think it's normal to prepare extra set of  cutlery? Ok fine, if you don't, I will ask for that for the first time. But I feel so damn annoyed when the dessert was served, I have to walk to the counter AGAIN to ask for an extra fork for the SECOND TIME!!! Seriously?

Ah Gu Pan Mee @ Lorong Selamat, Penang

A shop named with Moo but it doesn't means that the shop only sell beef dishes. Hi, Pan Mee lover, another new shop to try out. Actually till now, I think, paragon food court and face to face pan mee is the best, If you know any place selling yummy pan mee, please share with me ya. I damn love dry chili pan mee.

A close up of my bowl of pan mee. The eggs were nicely timed-boiled, however I not sure is it because of the bacon, the soup was a little bit salty to me.

When I first stepped into Sul So Dam cafe, a strong korean wave was filled in the air, as the cafe is playing KPOP MVs with a huge TV display. Besides, I was so in love with their minimalist design. Those simple clear cuts wood furnitures make you feel like home, very comfortable and relaxing.

Melon Bingsu

Those balls look like fish balls huh? Hahaha, is melon. Under melons were, tiny blended ais mixed with milk. While eating this, need to be careful, melon is easily fall and rolled on the table.

Hint: There is FOC water and cutlery at the section near the counter. Self-service please because the staff will show you the beh-syiok-face, when you asked.

A zoom in of the pizza, look at the cheese. The taste in between of sweet (pineapples) and salty (ham and cheese) is perfectly blended. Just one imperfect, can the chef cut the pineapple into small pieces?

Indoors are all filled with air-conditioners and dim lighting which make you feel very cozy and relaxing. Besides, there is many containers with different themes.
