The Craftisan @ Kek Chuan Road, Penang

The Craftisan is located right beside The Soul, first floor ya.

Personally feel that the Craftisan's design concept is minimalist and eco-green, simple yet comfortable. Feel so relaxing, very suitable for people go there chit chat relax while enjoying desserts.

Cute menu, isn't it?

Goddness of Mercy
RM 21

The gelato ice-cream flavour I chose was Tie Kuan Yin. It sounds special and rare, so I picked this. Hmm, not bad, haha, taste of Tie Kuan Yin lo. Below the ice-cream is panna cotta together with nuts.

If you ask me nice? Hmm, ok lo, but with that overpriced Goddness of Mercy, coming back for the same dessert, sorry I think no lo...

Thai Shop @ Kimberly Street, Penang

Thai Shop opened by Thai people. I know this sentence sounds a little bit lame, but what I try to say is, the food there is Thai traditional cooked, got that "Thai" feel.

Cha nom yen (Thai iced milk tea)
RM 4

Moo Ping (Thai pork fillet on sticks)
RM 8

No doubt, is a MUST try just like what they stated in the menu. The pork very juicy, very chewy and the taste is real good.

Khao kha moo (Pork leg rice)
RM8

Tomyum seafood
RM 12

The tomyum got that "Tradtional Thai smell", haha, not sure you can get what I try to say. Tomyum is nice, spicy but not too spicy, seafood is fresh, nothing much to criticise.

But but, not really my type of tomyum. Hmm, the taste is not what I really like, maybe like I say, got that "smell", besides I not so satisfied with the spicy-ness. *Tomyum no "spicy" where got syiok...*

Well, I don't know have you got the same comment from your friends that already tried on it. My friends do told me, Thai shop is bit pricy because the food is just ok and there is only "hot-con", not really worth that price. Hmm, what do you think about this?

Creameal @ Jalan Gurdwara, Penang

Chicken ham carbonara
RM 17

Well, I feel that the taste is not up to the point, you know, that carbonara-feel is not that strong. And I was so disappointed to the boiled egg too. Some improvement is needed, maybe?

Fish & chips
RM 13.90

Thumbs up for this Fish & chips, so so so good. The fish was fresh, juicy and soft with the crispy skin. I love it so much.

Every girl has extra space for dessert, don't you agree on that?

Creameal's signature is their handcrafted ice cream, with several choices. Trust me, if you have dilemma in choosing, good luck to you. Hahaha.

Waffle x 2 scoop
(Blue chrysanthemums and Earl grey lavender)
RM 13.90

Actually I aim for chrysanthemums quite a time, finally I pay a visit. Chrysanthemums really refreshing, I love it so much. Earl grey lavender not bad too, the fragrant is strong, if you don't like it, I think you should choose others. Not forgetting the waffle, super crispy until I feel a little too much.

Feel free do visit Creameal , my first visit at there.

Dolce Dessert @ Kek Chuan Road, Penang

STRESSED = DESSERTS
Agree?

When  you feel stress, don't get stressed over all the shits, get up, find a cafe, sit down, listen music and enjoy your dessert. All you need is just a break, although your shit won't get clean up automatically, trust me, your mood will change to better.

Mango Cake Tart
RM 15.00

Dolce Dessert's waiter said, Mango is their signature, no doubt, this Mango Cake Tart is super nice, it won't taste too sweet, with the tart, everything is just up to the point. Thumbs up for this.

Lemon Praline
RM 15.80

The name sounds so classy huh? haha, it's just lemon mix with chocolate. Hmm, I don't really like this cake, is not the cake problem, is me myself don't really like sour, the sour-ness of lemon make me feel weird. I think, if you okay with sour, you can try it.

Arang Coffee @ The Twelve Cups, Penang

The Twelve Cups x Arang coffee

Currently, these both cafes have a collaboration, Arang coffee taking over The Twelve Cups' kitchen on 29 May - 26 June. Well, for those people, just like me, who wants to try out Arang coffees' dishes, but thinking it located at Bayan Lepas area, laziness won the game. But now, you have a chance, faster go try out before 25 June.

Seafood Aglio Olio
RM 23

First time trying squid ink pasta, well you know, braces peoples' concern. Surprisingly, it turns out to be quite good, no squid ink stink on your teeth or mouth.

Okay, back to the main point. Seafood Aglio Olio, the signature pasta which consists of squid ink pasta, tiger prawns, garlic infused olive oil, chilli flakes and parmesan cheese. Just look the ingredients already mouth-watering right?

Chicken Parmigiana
RM 21

Cornflake crusted chicken thigh, chef's specialty sauce, cheese, potato wedges and salad. Conclusion, big portion, sauce tastes like pizza, is a compliment, but but, sharing will be more suitable. Maybe because of the cheesy and big portion, until half way, you will start to feel "jit lat".

Well, The Twelve Cups do serves dessert too
